There are 3 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today, all in NB. The first new case announced late yesterday) involves a person between the ages of 60 and 69 in the Fredericton region (zone 3), who is past the 14-day contagious period and no longer symptomatic, now considered recovered. The source of the case is under investigation but believed to be travel related and is connected with the case reported yesterday. The other 2 cases are temporary foreign workers who arrived in Moncton and began immediately self-isolating. One case is an individual between 30 and 39 and the other is an individual between 50 and 59, both in Moncton. This means there are 5 active cases in PEI, 0 in NS, 9 in NB and 2 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/64 (83%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/64 (89%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 509 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.
