There are 4 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today, 3 in PEI and 1 in NS. PEI also reports 4 recoveries and NB reports 3. The new cases in PEI are all male essential workers who came to the Island on Aug. 5 and have been self isolating. The new case in NS is in the Northern Zone and is currently under investigation by Public Health. Note, all recent cases in NS have been in the Northern zone so hopefully this turns out to be a contact of one of those cases. This means there are 4 active cases in PEI, 5 in NS, 12 in NB and 2 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/64 (83%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/64 (89%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 448 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.
