There are 2 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today. The first was reported yesterday afternoon in PEI, another contact of the known cluster and had already been isolating after initially testing negative. The other case is in Newfoundland and is travel related. It's the first case in NFLD in over 40 days. This means there are 6 active cases in PEI, 3 in NS, 1 in NB and 1 in NFLD, none related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/63 (84%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/63 (90%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). NS is now at 34 days without a death. Yesterday, 579 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.

The province is renewing the state of emergency to protect the health and safety of Nova Scotians and ensure the safe reopening of businesses and services. The order will take effect at noon Sunday, July 12 and extend to noon Sunday, July 26, unless government terminates or extends it.

- The US rate of increase rose slightly to 0.74%. They are at 41 days in a row under a 1% increase, 15 of them at/under 0.5%.
- Sweden's increase is also down to 0.33% meaning 32 of the last 36 days are under 1%, 22 of them under 0.5%.
