Miami-Dade Antibody Study
Update on the Antibody situaton I have been following closely as reporting on:
Researchers completed an antibody study in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Details on the specifics are scant at the moment, but the results are that approximately 6% of the county has the antibodies, which is 16x the number of reported cases.
This 6% figure is double the 3% that has been found in the other case studies we have been following, but is nonetheless further evidence of the true rate of infection we may be seeing in many places around the globe.
Hopefully we have more studies come in from other countries, including Canada before long, to see if this 3%+ infection rate is consistent across the western world, and how much it may vary from place to place.
