There are 11 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today, 2 in PEI, 4 in NS, 3 in NB, 2 in NFLD; NB & NFLD reports 1 recovery each. Ontario numbers are updated. The new cases in PEI are both travel related and are isolating as required. The new cases in NS are in Central Zone. Two cases are related to travel outside Atlantic Canada. The other two cases are close contacts of previously reported cases. The 3 cases in NB are all in zone 3 (Fredericton) and under investigation. The first new confirmed case in NFLD is a female in the Eastern Health region between 60-69 years of age. The case is travel-related. The individual, a resident of Newfoundland and Labrador, returned to the province from Europe. The second new confirmed case is also a female in the Eastern Health region between 20-39 years of age. The case is travel-related. The individual, a resident of Newfoundland and Labrador, returned to the province from the United States. This means there are 2 active cases in PEI, 20 in NS, 26 in NB and 6 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 933 tests were completed with 4 new cases reported.
