There is 1 new case in the Atlantic Bubble today, it's in PEI; NB reports 0 cases and 8 recoveries, NS reports 1 recovery. Ontario numbers are updated. The new case in PEI is a woman in her 20s, a rotational worker who had travelled outside the Atlantic bubble for work purposes. The woman's first COVID-19 test on returning to the Island was negative, which Dr Morrison said is a demonstration that testing cannot replace other pandemic precautions, such as quarantine on returning to the Atlantic bubble. This means there are 3 active cases in PEI, 5 in NS, 95 in NB and 11 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 552 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.
