There are 15 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today, 13 in NB and 2 in NFLD. In NFLD, one case is a female in the Western Health region between 40-49 years of age. This case is a close contact of a previous case. The other confirmed case is a male in the Eastern Health region between 40-49 years of age. This case is travel-related. The individual, a resident of Newfoundland and Labrador, returned to the province from work in Africa. He has been self-isolating since arrival.

In NB, 12 cases are in zone 5, the Campbellton region (1 travel related). 1 case is in zone 1, Moncton region. 150 people in zone 1 are now isolating as directed by public health based on potential exposure. Both zones are being moved from yellow to orange with regards to the provinces pandemic traffic light system.

This means there are 3 active cases in PEI, 3 in NS, 37 in NB and 6 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 874 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.

Notable points for today:
- Spain reported 126 deaths yesterday for an increase of 0.39%.
- Austria reports 4 deaths for an increase of 0.48%.
- The rate of increase in Canada is 0.17% with 16 deaths (9 QC, 4 ON, 2 AB, 1 BC). This marks 79/84 days at/under 0.15%.
- The US rate of increase is 0.46%. 18/23 days are at/under a 0.45% increase, 6 of them at/under 0.2%.
- Sweden's increase is 0.03% meaning 47/51 days are at/under 0.05%, all of them at/under 0.1%.
